AMT (Automated manual transmission), this system is based on conventional manual transmission 


which is good at fuel efficiency, also has the convenience of automatic transmission.





2 actuators (clutch actuator and gear actuator) are replaced for the clutch pedal and the gear lever. 


So the driving can be performed without the clutch and gear lever operation like an automatic transmission.




AMT Actuator is using small motors that have low current consumption and good system efficiency, 


which helps improve fuel efficiency and their small size is advantageous for the package.




PHC Valeo figures out clutch characteristics according to clutch abrasion and temperature conditions,  


and applies them to control logic to improve ride comfort during gear shift and 


clutch life (approximately 4 times the actual vehicle test standard), 


and it achieves better fuel efficiency than the manual transmission.
